 Even though she has many muses to choose from, her family remains her main inspiration.

 

Maria B graduated from Pakistan's prestigious Pakistan Institute of Fashion Design (PIFD) in 1998 with a clear vision of what she wanted from her brand. To create a market for almost non-existent designer clothing and accessories, she wanted to challenge the status quo. She did exactly what she said she would do.

The only outlets where Maria.B began in 1999 were a retail store and a stitching unit, with the intention of offering ready-to-wear fashions that represented an elegant fusion of eastern and western cultures. A collection of prêt a porter, couture, formal wear, lawn, embroidered fabrics, linen and cottons, All within one affordable label and boasting a network of 25 retail outlets in 12 different cities throughout Pakistan, including independent outlets and mall outlets, while also exporting to international destinations such as India, UK, USA, Bangladesh, UAE and Qatar.

 

Approximately 30 designs are included in the collection. Three pieces Maria B lawn suits feature an embroidered neckline, printed front and back, embroidered Chiffon sleeves, embroidered ghera and sleeve patti, embroidered neckline patti, printed trouser, and printed silk dupatta.

Mkids

A good-quality, trendy, yet traditional cotton collection for kids was created by MKids to fill a gap in the market for girls (age 2-14) who need clothes that are of good quality and trendy yet traditional. Colors and cuts that are diverse for your little one can be found in Mkids collection.

 

Cottons

MARIA.B's first line was pret casual; clothes that were ready-to-wear in pure cottons. An idea was born to provide the perfect solution for the confident, up-to-date woman. You can wear Maria.B’s cotton line, to office, to a formal lunch, a get together or an informal dinner too. Our Eid collections are more elaborate and formal making them ideal for the occasion.

 

Evening Wear

The first designer to launch a ready-to-wear evening/party line was MARIA.B. There is a variety of color palettes and cuts in the collection- from traditional to a chic fusion of east and west; from demure to bright; great for a night out or for an acquaintance's wedding.

 

Lawn/Eid Lawn

In 2006, MARIA.B Lawn became the first designer lawn on the market. Maria.B lawn is available in a variety of designs, colors, embroidery and fabric options.The designers of Maria.B work out on every detail to provide their clients with the perfect 3 piece suits and add more value to their customers through their partnership with Swarovski.

 

Embroidered

We have added a luxury embroidered fabric brand to our portfolio that is now the number ONE in Pakistan. The brand was launched only 3 years ago, and has quickly established itself as the most sought after on the market. From intricate embroideries, to an array of diverse colors, from saris to lehngas, each design offers a world of possibilities for all. Swarovski crystals add the final sparkle to this collection.
